Donald E. Dyches, Jr.
Don Dyches is a native of Savannah, and a graduate of Calvary Baptist Day School. He received his B.B.A. in Economics from Mercer University in 1990, and his J.D. from University of Georgia School of Law in 1993. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and South Carolina.
Mr. Dyches’ practice is primarily focused on real estate, including residential and commercial real estate closings and real estate litigation. His practice also includes estate planning, wills & trusts, and probate, as well as forming and advising small businesses.
Mr. Dyches’ family was instrumental in the development of Savannah’s Southside. In the late 1940’s, Mr. Dyches’ grandfather, Woodrow W. Dyches, started a homebuilding business which later became Dyches Construction Company. Over the decades that Company transitioned from homebuilding, to development, and finally to property management. Today, that company is managed by other family members, who oversee a portfolio of family-owned retail, commercial, and residential properties.
Mr. Dyches is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and land management. He is actively involved in land conservation efforts in South Carolina & Georgia, and serves as the Chairman of the Southlowcountry (SoLo) Task Force in South Carolina. Mr. Dyches is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Real Property Law Section), South Carolina Bar (Real Estate Practice Section), the Savannah Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Georgia Real Estate Attorneys Association (GRECAA), American Land Title Association, the Savannah Area Realtors and the Savannah Mortgage Bankers Association.
